Welcome!

Inamorata Center is a place where West meets East.  Spirituality is informed by the wisdom of religious teachings and contemporary depth psychology. It is a weaving of spiritual exploration, learning and practice.

At its center is the experience of inamorata, which literally means  “to be love and loving”.

There is a flame in each of us—Inamorata Center—where our heart’s desire is our love for the Divine, ourselves, our communities and the earth.

The invitation is to discover and be guided by your inamorata center, your own inner flame. Here we engage an inquiry into your soul’s desire to live the fullest life possible. It is a heart and belly expanding movement toward greater connection and freedom. Here we also seek to understand and take action on the many pulls that draw us away from an integrated and embodied life of love and service.

For many the spiritual life is not a rarefied or optional endeavor.  It is a feet on the ground expression of what is true, just and loving every day and in each moment. There are  challenges to living your life with a grounded passion and  they are known for their persistence and wily resistance.

I have found in my own journey and unfolding it has been critical to receive support, guidance and teaching from a regular spiritual guide or director. While I have sought the wisdom found in other modalities and within faith communities, it has been important for me to have an individual or small group focus to provide this space for inquiry and discovery.
